Following is an example of one of the times in which the hosting company ServerPronto made a billing mistake and did not fix it for over 8 months! In spite of all my explanations which they seemed not very prone to understand:

Hi,

In the last invoice (68042), there is 50$ charge for a 1000GB Bandwidth Package that I have not purchased.

Could you please let me know the reason for this extra charge?

Another two months and yet no refund?

This is really worrying and says very little of this company. You don’t
seem very willing to return their money to your customers.

How difficult is it to send a refund? I do it the same day when one of my customers requests it.

Please let me know what is holding this and solve it as soon as possible.

i cannot beleive that the refund has not posted yet.

the request was placed months ago, they usually do not take this long. i placed it for $77.63.

i see you have recently placed an order for a starter package. do you
want the $77.63 to be credited to that? i can do that within 5 minutes
of you confirming. the server can be up before the end of the day.

As I said, those $77.63 are related to ticket HHN-67363, nothing to do
with the undue extra charge for bandwidth usage to which this ticket
refers. The $50 that were charged have not been refunded yet.
